About

Making clean energy something you can simply use

voltswapp is an early-stage Nigerian clean-energy venture building energy access as a service.

Mission

Close the gap between available energy and accessible energy

The technologies to generate and store electricity already exist. Solar, batteries, grid supply and generators all prove that. What remains hard, for many homes and small businesses, is getting reliable power in the amount needed, when needed, without a large upfront purchase and the responsibility of maintaining a system.

voltswapp approaches that as a service problem. A portable dock arrives ready to use, managed units are designed to be monitored, and when charge runs low a charged dock is delivered while the depleted one returns to a hub.

From owning energy infrastructure to simply accessing energy.

Access over ownership

Customers should be able to use reliable power without buying and maintaining an energy system.

Clean by default

The model is built around battery storage and clean charging rather than fuel-burning backup.

Service, not hardware

The product is the experience of always having power, not a box sold once.

Honest claims

We describe intended design and pilot plans as exactly that, until real deployment data exists.

Stage

Where voltswapp is today

Where we are

Pre-pilot. Product design, operating model and this working prototype of the end-to-end experience.

What's next

A Lagos pilot cohort of homes and small businesses, with a small hub and rider footprint.

What we're learning

Real load patterns, swap frequency, turnaround time, dock utilisation and willingness to pay.
